Beginning at 7:03a PST, Writable's application database failed to automatically scale to accomodate increased usage and became overwhelmed. Our engineers were notified of increased error rates at 7:06a PST and began investigating. User reports of issues began at 7:10a PST. The cause was identified by 7:20a PST and steps were immediately taken to add additional database resources. Those resources came online and began accepting traffic at 7:28a PST. All metrics were back to normal by 7:32a PST.
